History of The Virginia Symphony Orchestra

Norfolk Historical Society board member John Lindberg, music instructor and retired percussionist with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, will entertain us with a history of the nearly 100-year-old organization that got its start in Norfolk.

We welcome you to contact us!  The Norfolk Historical Society maintains space at Historic Fort Norfolk (c. 1810).  We are also available via mail, e-mail, and social media.
