Baseball in Norfolk, Part III: The Tides

Local sports historian Clay Shampoe concludes his three-part series on baseball in Norfolk with the story of the Norfolk TIDES. The TIDES franchise began in 1961. The team has served as a farm team for the New York Mets and, sinc3 2007, the Baltimore Orioles.

FREE and open to the public.
