A Postcard History of Norfolk

  • Wednesday, August 12, 2015
  • 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • MacArthur Memorial Visitor Center Theatre

Join Bill Inge, building historian in the Sargeant Memorial Collection of the Norfolk Public Library, for a trip down memory lane, as he presents a history of Norfolk as told through the SMC’s extensive collection of postcards. Dating from the late 19th century through the 1970’s, these
postcards showcase Norfolk’s commercial buildings and businesses, residential neighborhoods and street scenes, and governmental and religious landmarks.
