Come watch an archaeological dig in downtown Norfolk.

The next archaeological dig in the churchyard at St. Paul's Episcopal Church is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th and Wednesday, May 6th (from 10 am to 4 pm).  The project is looking for the footprint of an earlier (c. 1699-1700) church in the south churchyard.  Open to the public.

We welcome you to contact us!  The Norfolk Historical Society maintains space at Historic Fort Norfolk (c. 1810).  We are also available via mail, e-mail, and social media.
