Notice: 202nd Anniversary of the Battle of Craney Island

202 years after the Battle of Craney Island, War of 1812 re-enactors will be at the fort to celebrate this victory.  Visitors will see musket demonstrations and learn about the Battle of Craney Island that took place on June 22, 1813.  This event is Free and open to the public.

 

We welcome you to contact us!  The Norfolk Historical Society maintains space at Historic Fort Norfolk (c. 1810).  We are also available via mail, e-mail, and social media.
