Make Tea not War: Commemorating the Treaty of Ghent Bicentennial

Visit the Hampton Roads Naval Museum with your family and sit down to enjoy a cup of tea and speak with costumed interpreters about how civilians might have greeted the news of the Treaty of Ghent which ended the War of 1812.  Museum admission is free; cost for refreshments is $7 (made payable to the Hampton Foundation).  To make a reservation, call (757)322-3168 to reserve your spot (tickets will be paid for at the door).  Please direct any questions to diana.gordon1.ctr@navy.mil
