Treaty of Ghent Bicentennial Gala

Join the Norfolk Historical Society for a grand gala in commemoration of the two centuries of peace between Great Britain and the United States since the signing of the Treaty of Ghent in 1815.  This ticketed event will feature a Proclamation of Amity signed by Norfolk Mayor, the Honorable Paul D. Fraim, an oration on the Treaty of Ghent by award winning author and historian John V. Quarstein, a demonstration of early 19th century dancing followed later in the evening with 19th century dances for everyone to join in, with live music and delicious food and drinks.  The dances will be called by Ms. Jenna Simpson.  Tickets are $50/person and may be purchased online.

Black tie or Regency attire is requested.
