Tucker-Guy Scholastic Award Winners Announced!
Norfolk Historical Society’s Tucker-Guy Scholastic Award preserves the legacy of George Tucker and Louis Guy by supporting a new generation of historians. It is awarded annually to an undergraduate history major at each of Norfolk’s three universities – Norfolk State, Old Dominion and Virginia Wesleyan.

The Norfolk Historical Society is a community-supported organization that provides broad opportunities to learn about and participate in the rich and diverse history of the Norfolk, Virginia area.
The Norfolk Historical Society, both by itself and in partnership with other organizations, shall actively promote the collection, interpretation, and preservation of Norfolk, Virginia area history through educational programs, preservation support, community awareness, and advocacy.
